THE LEISURE VEHICLES TRADE SHOW

The 44nd Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs will be hold from 26 september - 04 october 2009, Parc des Expositions Paris-Le Bourget, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The latest innovations have been presented to the audience, in order to make all the visitors discover the million ways to live easily in a motorhome, a mobil-home or a caravan.
(Trailers, equipments, accessories, travel planners, finance specialists, industry presse, RV'S clubs….will also exhibit).
Held each year at Paris-Le Bourget since 1966, The Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs is one of the most important fair in the European leisure vehicles field.
It is organized by the Syndicat des Constructeurs de Véhicules de Loisirs. (Leisure Vehicles Manufacturers Association).

It welcomes international exhibitors (France, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United States.
Its exhibition area is bigger and bigger each passing year : + 30% for the ten last year (+5,2% for the latest).

The Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs is promoted by an exceptional budget allocated each year including TV, radio and poster advertising, press relations, distribution of reduced price tickets…

In order to provide entertainment to the audience, numerous activities regarding the environment of leisure vehicles are available at the Show.

111 465 visitors were welcomed in 2008.

France is the major country for tourism with 77 millions welcomed last year. It is also the main country for conferences and exhibitions with 126 places around the territory.
Paris has been the world capital for congresses for 20 years. The town is served by an excellent air, motorway and railway network (TGV, Shuttle, Thalys).

Leisure vehicles users have been elected France by an overwhelming majority : 20 million tourists visit the country each year in this way.
Nearly 10 800 campsites offer 968 000 spaces which represent the second total number of offers behind the USA.
